Jampa Namgyal

Venerable Jampa Namgyal was born on March 1st, 1975 at Hull Dop, North India. After studying at the local school for three years, he enrolled himself in Gaden Shartse Monastery, where he began his study of basic languages and Buddhist texts. He then began his studies of the main commentaries, as well as training on making butter sculptures offerings, sand mandala creation, spiritual dances. He is also a well known debater within the class-fellows. Currently, he is studying the Madhyamikka (Entry to the Middle Path and commentaries.
