Tenzin Dhondup

Mr. Tenzin Dhondup was born at Dheradun in north India. He did his primary level study at the place itself and later he switched to Center School Tibet Dalhousie (C.S.T.) for High secondary Studies. There he remain for some years and one day with desire from his parents he joined Center Institute for Highter Tibetan Stuies Varanasi (C.I.H.T.S.) for higher Tibetan Studies. Along with the course, he rolled as an active member of Regional Tibetan Youth Congress Nainital (R.T.Y.C.), participated and also volunteered several times in organizing camps.

After completion of his Shastri and Acharya degree he voluntarily came to Gaden Shartse Monastery and served as Teacher to primary level at Gashar Norling School and as correspondent to Gashar Education Project, Gaden Shartse Monastery since 2001. He also worked as translator to Geshe Namgyal Jungney at Dro-Phen ling Gelugpa Buddhist Centre, Singapore on a month course of Self-meditation regarding Nine-metal Abiding, stage of Calm Abiding and Great Seeing to complete enlightenment.

He has been appointed as translator and coordinator for the current World Cultural Tour 2005-2006.
